Does routine use of a new set of surgical instruments and equipment following debridement and before reimplantation reduce the risk of surgical site infections/periprosthetic joint infections (SSIs/PJIs) recurrences? Is it necessary to change all surgical fields before the final reimplantation in septic revision surgery?
