What clinical signs (e.g., gross wound changes (swelling, erythema or drainage)) are concerning for shoulder periprosthetic joint infection (PJI)?

RECOMMENDATION: The presence of a sinus tract is the only clinical sign that can be considered highly specifi c for shoulder PJI. Other clinical signs of shoulder PJI include unexpected wound drainage.
