What radiographic findings are concerning for shoulder periprosthetic joint infection (PJI)?

RECOMMENDATION: Radiographic fi ndings concerning for shoulder PJI include component loosening or migration, radiolucent lines, osteolysis, endosteal scalloping and new bone formation. Specifi cally, humeral loosening should signifi cantly raise the suspicion for shoulder PJI.
